AuTrain village is just a mile away from the cabins. It features two store/deli/gas stations and an excellent restaurant. Ten miles down the road, Munising offers several supermarkets and more good food, as well as a casino. |

The seashore includes not only rock formations, but hiking trails, camping, and sandy beaches. There are also sunken wreck tours in a glass bottomed boat. The clear, cold waters of Lake Superior make wreck viewing possible. |
